Whether it was life, cooking, shopping, sports, board games, cards, family (the list could go on for forever) Grandma Ames had two objectives in mind : TO LOVE and TO WIN. If Grandma was spending time on it, she had to WIN no matter what.
The will to win isn't something that you wake up one morning with & I firmly believe Grandma Ames is who I can credit my extreme competitive edge too. Her approach to ANYTHING she spent her time on is textbook – Always compete. Being a sports junkie myself, I can only smile while I reminisce on the all the late nights & bed times that I missed when I was with Grandma because she had to win at whatever we were doing before I could go to sleep.
Grandma Ames – I love you bunches & I thank you tons for everything you have taught not only me but each and every person you came in contact with.
